I remember it well. I was at Jerome's house. I was there early so I could help Jerome with some computer issues. He had just changed providers he switched from Optimum to Verizon. I remember him cooking all day. I had eaten some food which was quite good. I had ox tails, mac and cheese,and some chips.As the guests arrived, I was working on the computer transferring files. Then I felt sick. A little nausea. so went t the bathroom and I started throwing up. My dinner, my lunch and my food I just ate. I was throwing up for a while. Then I was hot sweaty and dizzy. Melanie and Chinetta said i needed o go to the hospital. Phyllis drove me down to NYP. I spent the night there. The Dr. said I had colitis of course this was later found not true. I then ended up at Cornell four weeks later and the doctors gave me a bigger antibiotics dose. Lo and behold that didn't work. Then I went to a G.I. Dr. hence a colonoscopy and a biopsy later.

So, my mother started cooking early in the weee mornin' She cooked some rice googy balls (sweet) and did some bowing and praying for all good stuff for the new year! The house smells of incense and food I think its Chicken and stuff!
