Post visit

Dear B,
I visited Dr.Su. yesterday. No clear answers if I should definitely take chemo or not. She told me it will only give me me 30% of non reocurance. I find it not great odds. She mentioned that her dad had stage 2 and was clear. He was older too. I think it was weird the charts sat I was stage 3b .The charts states I have 4 out of 34 lyphnodes exposed. But wouldn't 4 out of 10 be worse. It seems to not be on that kind of ratio scale. I still have oncologist visits ahead. Hopefully I think I might make a better decision. Im just like what????? Remember no definite answers. My therapist has been supportive. She tells me to take it easy. Make sure I have friends and family support. Liz has been awesome. I wanted to give a shout out to Lynn, katy , Lenny and Kirsten.

So I am back from my Dr. ...

So B I went in and got my staples taken out  I learned I should not apply bacitracin on wound. It should be dry or needs to dry out. Liz said to punch her for being wrong.       Dr.Feingold said to rest up first 4-6weeks. 2. Get to oncologist Chemo? Then get a genetic markers test in case of other cancers. Kristen said to check out Sloan and Kettering. She also got my results. She was correct in saying that Dr.Fiengold would have contacted me earlier if it was more serious.
Dr.Feingold said if it was ten years before I would be in the hospital longer and recovery time is not as good.Thank goodness for technology.
Well, besides Kristen being concerned , Lenny, Katy and Daisy called.

The day before...

Dear B,
I wanted to tell you how nervous I am. I have a 12:30 appointment to see Dr. Feingold. It is time to take out the staples. The wounds are healing noticeably. Karen the nurse said that two of the four wounds are not sticking together. She said maybe he will wait on those staples. I will get my diagnosis and my pathology. I hope I do not need chemo. The plan is that Liz is taking me up there and back. She will sit through the consult im really not knowing what will happen.

So on my first day back from the hospital...

So today was my first day at home. I got a little stress from mom but that's normal. my belly is a little sore. I tried to stay out for a little food with my friends Jay and Len but I came back cold and tired. I slept ate and still full of exhaustion. I've basically been told to keep it dry and clean. Eat healthy food. I'm waiting for results.
I started to take pictures of my scarred belly and the tattooing thing was kinda funny, now im thinking of doing it lol!
By the way its kinda personal that the amount of anesthesia gas release from my body is a hoot, toot , and poot. There is definitely a lot of coughing, phlegm fest.
I was so glad my friends brought stuff for me not to eat but just to entertain. To think it was funny that we sat through the Russian olympic opening ceromony at the hospital lol!It did keep my spirit up and kept me going for a week. So Thanks Kathy, Su, Nancy, Ling, Katy, Kristen, Lenny,Jerome, and Daisy. And of course my moms friends too! I did not forget my facebook buddies too.

I got approved for wtc coverage secondary on insurance. It is now a waiting game.
I was sad today because I saw picture of an old woman who had her cat in the hospital because she was going to die.

My adventure with my friends...

Friends are Great!
Well today I wanted to tell everybody how nice everybody has been to me! Everybody as been saying just " Hello!" and " How are you?" I went with Jerome to Costsco to get some supplies for my post op.Wendy had arranged a Super Bowl party and started inviting friends. I decided not to got cause I may not be good company and it was late.(6:00 pm -until). Melanie was doing the float Sunday for the Dragon parade! I thought fire crackers and crowds were not for me. Jerome was definitely tired after Hanging at Pete and Laura's,so we both called it a day!
Later that evening, I went out with my High School Buddies for a night to just chill out! I met there little do Alex she was the  most friendly k-9. Kristen and Dwight bunny buddies too. I missed their little offspring Sara because she was at the University. I asked about the house number she said it was a coincidence didn't even think about it. The house looked pretty good so far. We had a great time ending up at Brooklyn Crab. After not making into a lot of the original restaurant we tried. They were booked up full! What do you expect on a Saturday night! Dwight, Kristen and Lenny had a great conversation all night long. It was so weird I literally had not hung out hung out with them in a longtime I missed them. We all were into our mature nature all the time. Dwight cracked us all up with his colonoscopy story. Dwight told it in his Dwight fashion which nobody can match. Lenny was very polite and we went with the flow. Kristen she was so awesome she told us some stories of Sara. Over all it was just and great night and I hope we get to hang out again when the half way house is in order. Dwight drove us into Manhattan  I was so glad that I visited with them. They all wished me best of luck for Tuesday.
